World Headquarters Complex:
This state-of-the-art complex, reminiscent of the Worldwide Church of God’s Pasadena, California campus, will be without equal, and will benefit both the Church and the local community. It will provide a beautiful setting for the rapidly expanding Work of God, and also serve as a Conference and Festival site, as well as a location to receive visiting dignitaries.
With significant site preparation already underway, construction of six buildings is to begin about April 1, 2012. The campus will include:
- An elegant Hall of Administration
- A stunning Auditorium—House of God!—in the style of the original Ambassador Auditorium
- A secondary Administration Annex to house printing, mail distribution, maintenance of buildings and grounds, and other operations
- A Conference Center for the Church’s educational training institution, Ambassador Center
- Two buildings to provide lodging for attendees
- Immaculate grounds, including exquisitely manicured gardens, pools, paths, bridges, fountains, other water features, and sculptures, all set amidst stairwells and terraced landscaping, etc.
The entire campus is designed to reflect the extraordinary tradition of all three Ambassador campuses—which the Church long understood were in fact to reflect the quality and character of God!
The entire complex is scheduled to open in April, 2013, and will coincide with a major expansion in enrollment for Ambassador Center.
The four preliminary renderings above will be refined and updated week to week over the coming months. Visit this site regularly for these updates, to include a “3D” virtual tour—both inside and outside the buildings.
To learn the many reasons these buildings are necessary, you will want to read our latest announcement.
(For members in the offshoots of the WCG, there is a somewhat longer announcement on the splinter news page.)
