New Records Set Every Month:
“Church Inquiries (CI) continued to accelerate through the month of June—ending at 822, the highest monthly total ever. But this was more than just another all-time record. A clear trend is emerging—with new records being set on a month-by-month basis. Think of it this way. Each new month brings a higher total than the previous record—set only the month before. April’s record 787 was beaten by May’s 799, which was then topped by June’s 822, with June having one less day. Consider that May averaged 25.8 CIs per day. June averaged 27.4—an over one-and-a-half per day increase in a month that usually begins to reflect the summer slowdown. Multiply 27.4 times 365 days in a year and the total would be 10,001 for a year, if the rate never increased. (This is higher than anything the Worldwide Church of God ever experienced.)
“With a little over six full months behind us, the 2011 total stands at 4,490 (as of July 6). For perspective, the entire 2010 count was 4,790—just 300 more. We will pass this number in probably about two weeks! (Last year’s total will already be beaten by the time some areas of the world receive this letter.) Put another way, we have already reached 93.7 percent of the number of CIs received in 2010—and again with almost six months still on the calendar! Truly, God’s Church is rapidly growing.”
